Aksel Braanen Sterri

Research director

Aksel is the research director at Langsikt and is responsible for the think tank's analyses and policy development. He is a political scientist and philosopher who has long worked at the intersection of economics, politics, and ethics. He leads a research project on our obligations during pandemics and has taught AI ethics at Harvard University, the University of Oxford, and the University of Oslo. Sterri has been a commentator for Dagbladet and has written books on topics including social democracy and the Norwegian Labour Party.
